Five Favorite Myrtle Beach Mini Golf Courses Near Ocean Reef Resort

Some the best family memories have been made while playing mini golf together in Myrtle Beach. There’s always something that gets everyone laughing, whether you family is ultra-competitive or laid-back and collaborative.

And fortunately, there are several mini golf courses located near Ocean Reef Resort, making it easy to enjoy one of the most popular family entertainment options on the Grand Strand!

1. Jungle Safari Mini Golf – 0.3 miles from Ocean Reef
We’re not sure what we like best about Jungle Safari, the elephants and giraffes and even the (real) ducks in the duck pond, the waterfalls and the shady course or the fact that it’s so close to the resort!

2. Treasure Island Mini Golf – 2 miles from Ocean Reef
Treasure Island is one of the original adventure-style mini golf locations in Myrtle Beach, and families keep coming back for the fun pirate theme and the well-maintained, challenging course. Be sure to ask about discounts, including a military discount.

3. Spy Glass Mini Golf – 2.7 miles from Ocean Reef
Another pirate-themed mini golf course, Spy Glass’ setting replicates a tropical island with a 50’ waterfall, caves and abandoned silver mines. A great spot for a family trip, and if you miss a putt, you can always say “Arrrgh!”

4. Captain Hook’s Adventure Golf – 2.9 miles from Ocean Reef
This course is part of the same company that owns Jungle Safari Mini Golf, though with Captain Hook’s, you can take your family on a trip to Never-Never land. With your choice of two 18-hole courses and some of the best waterfalls and fun themed décor, this is one of the top-rated mini golf courses in Myrtle Beach.

5. Mount Atlanticus Minotaur Goff – 5 miles from Ocean Reef
Visitors love coming back to Mount Atlanticus for the challenge! You can choose from two different 18-hole courses, both designed by a Minotaur named Goff. Practice for the 19th hole challenge, if you make it, you’ll win a lifetime pass to Mount Atlanticus!

Next time you visit Myrtle Beach, set aside some time to play some mini golf with your family—it’s a great way to make some memories!
