More Fun for Kids with the North Beach Kids Club
When you stay at North Beach Plantation in North Myrtle Beach for a family vacation, there’s no shortage of ways to relax and entertain every member of the family. Kids especially love the pools and we have three kiddie pools, four hot tubs and outdoor pools and waterfalls from which to choose! And of course, kids also love the beach. But families also love the opportunity to add some more structured fun into the vacation.
To help give the families staying at North Beach Plantation options, our kids club has different activities planned every day. When you’re here, stop by the west pavilion on the pool deck to pick up a daily schedule. A wide variety of activities will be planned and held under the pavilions on the pool deck or by the lazy river. Many activities are free, though some charge a nominal fee to cover supplies, generally $1-$3.
Some of the fun activities in store for kids at our kids club:
• Paint your own treasure box
• Design your own sand pail
• Design your own slap bracelet
• Decorate a flower pot
• Design a craft banner
• Water balloon toss
• Decorate your own cup
• Sand art
• Root beer floats
• Making jewelry with beads
• Water races
• Design your own telescope
• Animal show
• Ring toss
• Jumbo dice
“Our kids club usually has participants from ages 3-10, though not all crafts are suitable for children that young,” said AllisonMcCarthy, who is coordinating the kids club at North Beach Plantation for the season.
Organizers request that parents stay on the pool deck while their kids are participating in kids club. Some activities will require sign-up in the morning, so it’s recommended that parents and kids check in around 10 a.m. for the up-to-date schedule and to sign up for activities when required. “Every morning at 10 for an hour there will be a few games like ring toss and bean bag toss and that’s where they can sign up for the activities of the day,” McCarthy said.
So when you come to stay at North Beach Plantation, be ready for fun of all kinds for kids!
