There is a small admission fee to get in, but the memories and enjoyment that your kids will take home from this early celebration will be priceless!
Another kid-friendly event takes place at The Market Common, which is hosting its fourth annual Southern Times Square this New Year’s. This event will make you feel like you are in right in the center of the Big Apple – but without the chilling temperatures and ridiculously huge crowds! At this Times Square, there will be a live stream of the event in New York, street vendors, street entertainment and so much more. To cap off the night and to celebrate that ball dropping, there will also be a firework show to really bring in 2017 with a boom! The most popular New Year’s event throughout the Myrtle Beach area for tourists and natives alike has got to be Broadway at the Beach’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks Extravaganza. This event starts at 8 p.m. and features a lot of live music, games, food and crafts for people of all ages and is sure to please everyone in the family. As midnight nears, head over to the water’s edge so you can have the best seats to ring in the New Year and enjoy this elaborate display of fireworks, which is sure to bring out a few oohs and aahs from the crowd and leave everyone in amazement!
