Get ready for some spooky fun in Myrtle Beach this October.

Ever wanted to feel like you’re in a scary movie? Looking to experience the rush of scary monsters and zombies popping out at you in the dark? Do you love haunted houses? When you visit Ocean Reef Resort this fall, especially in October, be ready to take on the dark nights.

Each fall during October, Myrtle Beach offers an array of haunted houses and spooky attractions. While all are scream-inducing, one of them — Terror Under the Bridge — stands out as a local favorite.

Terror Under the Bridge has been a Grand Strand Halloween tradition for the past 11 years, and each year it keeps getting better! Staged this year at the X Gym Sports Mall located on George Bishop Parkway just north of the Intracoastal waterway, this haunted house will take you on a bone-chilling adventure filled with zombies, spiders and other creepy creatures.

You never know when one of the resident zombies will jump out, groan and try to scare the socks off of all who dare to pass by. One of the great things about this haunt is that the theme changes every year, so whether you are a first-time customer or have been coming for years, you will never know what — or who — will be lurking around the next corner!

Yes, you will be scared silly — but you will be scared for a good cause. Most of the proceeds from this year’s Terror Under the Bridge will benefit local charities in the Myrtle Beach community, such as Fostering Hope, which provides goods and services to foster children in surrounding counties. So, scaring up some fun is also quite rewarding.

Grab your friends, family and neighbors and head to Terror Under the Bridge. The horror begins on October 21 and runs through Halloween, so there are multiple opportunities to enter (if you dare) and have a good scare!

Fall is one of the best times of the year to visit Myrtle Beach and the Ocean Reef Resort. Not only do fall visitors get amazing weather, great rates and more space to spread out, but they also get to check out all the spooky Halloween attractions around town. Dress up in your favorite costume and head out to experience the best spots for Halloween fun!
