If that sounds like you cup of tea, Myrtle Beach has you covered, with festivals held nearly constantly throughout the summer and all throughout the area. Check out this short list of fan favorites, ranging from a low-key art event to a loud and proud Independence Day festival.

Carolina Country Music Fest – Summer is the time for upbeat music that reminds you of fun in the sun, and few genres deliver this better than country. Now in its third year, the June 8-11 Carolina Country Music Fest is bringing some of the biggest names in country music – such as Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and Darius Rucker – to Myrtle Beach for an oceanfront extravaganza. This three-day music festival will have you grabbing a few friends, dusting off your cowboy boots, and singing along to all of your favorites – all while partying on the beautiful sands of Myrtle Beach.

July 4th Festivities – One of the most iconic summer holidays is July 4th, the day we celebrate our nation’s independence, and Myrtle Beach definitely knows how to do it right. Throughout the day on the Grand Strand, you’ll be able to find parades, street performers, eating contests and (of course) fireworks to bring the celebration to a spectacular end. No matter where you choose to go in the area, you’re sure to find fun ways to take part in this great American celebration.

Sun Fun Festival – In production since 1951, the Sun Fun festival claims the title of the longest-running festival in Myrtle Beach. Held June 2-3 in downtown Myrtle Beach’s Plyler Park, this festival offers lots of free activities, concerts and a huge parade to end it all. Perfect for kids and adults of all ages and the perfect way to kick off the month of June, Sun Fun is the one festival you will not want to miss.

Brookgreen Gardens Art Festival – Held early in the summer tourism season, Brookgreen Gardens’ annual art festival features some of the Grand Strand’s best artists, and visitors can take in their works while navigating walkways and paths filled with flowers and all kinds of unique greenery. Take a beauty-filled stroll June 3 and 4, admiring not only the amazing landscaping that Brookgreen has to offer, but also the work put on display by our creative local artists.

Whichever festival you choose, whether it’s focused on fireworks, music or the arts, you’ll have a great experience and make great memories in Myrtle Beach.
