Things to do in Myrtle Beach with Kids: Ocean Reef Kids Club
There are tons of reasons families love to stay at Ocean Reef Resort—for one, we have Ship Wreck Waterpark right onsite, with giant tiki men, sunken treasure and even a sea serpent and lagoon lunge. There’s also ping pong, a game room, a giant chessboard, water basketball, beach volleyball and shuffleboard—there is seriously so much fun to be had it’s hard to know where to begin! But one other great benefit that families love is our super fun kids club!
In partnership with our sister resort, Long Bay, Ocean Reef is serving up a brand new kids club for 2013 with “scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, pool events. We’re also working on finalizing some really fun educational programs,” said Jennifer Muldoon of Long Bay Resort.
The kids club will run every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some additional hours offered for special events such as movie nights. Be sure to ask about a parents’ night out “where the parents can sign them in, and we’ll have ample staff to supervise while the parents go out. It’s shaping up to be a busy summer,” Muldoon said.
The kids club is a great way to add in some structured activities for your kiddos in between all the swimming and playing they’ll enjoy while you stay at Ocean Reef Resort. And most of the kids’ club activities are free, though some charge a small fee to cover the cost of supplies.
So check in with us when you arrive for the schedule of events at the kids club, and get ready for a Myrtle Beach vacation jam-packed with fun!
