Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon

Lace up your running shoes and take part in the Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon. The 5K race is set for 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 15th in the Market Common area. The mini marathon will take place at 6:00 AM on Sunday, October 16th and winds you around the oceanfront for five miles providing great views during your run.

Saturday, October 15th – 5K Race

The race will begin at 7:30 AM on Farrow Parkway at Hackler Street. Officers will be positioned at nearly all cross streets to assist drivers with reaching their destinations.

Expect road closures at the following locations:

-Eastbound Farrow Parkway, from Phillis Boulevard to Hackler Street from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM

-Eastbound Farrow Parkway, from Phillis Boulevard to Pampas Drive from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM

-Southbound Pampas Drive to Myers Avenue from 7:00 AM to approximately 9:00 AM

-Single lane closure on eastbound Farrow Parkway, from Myers Avenue to Phillis Boulevard from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM

-Forbus Court from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM

Sunday, October 16th – Mini Marathon

Race will begin at 7:00 AM at the intersection of Eighth Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard

Drivers, to minimize delays, please use the bypass and Kings Highway for navigating the city. Officers will be positioned at nearly all cross streets to assist drivers in reaching their destinations.

Expect road closures at the following locations:

-Northbound Grissom Parkway, from Mr. Joe White Avenue to Granddaddy Drive from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM

-Southbound Ocean Boulevard, from 63rd Avenue North to First Avenue North, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM

-Eastbound 62nd Avenue North, from the bypass to Ocean Boulevard.
