The Weather — When fall sets in on the Grand Strand, the temperatures tend to decline a bit — making for downright pleasant conditions for outdoor ventures. In September, the average high in the Myrtle Beach area is 84 degrees, while October’s is 76 degrees and November’s is 68 degrees. The average number of days with rainfall drops a bit from an August high of nine, too, with September seeing an average of six days with rainfall, October dropping to five, and November seeing an annual low of four.
Thinner Crowds — Of course, since peak season has already passed in Myrtle Beach, the crowds on the beaches and at the area’s top attractions thin out as the fall season moves on.
