While Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show has gained critical acclaim for providing family friendly entertainment, a pirate ship may seem like an unlikely place for a Christmas show.

But let theater owner and show producer Dolly Parton give it a little holiday makeover and Pirates Voyage show magically transforms into an excellent Christmas showcase. With the action taking place on a floating clipper ship in the middle of a large pool of water, aka the stage, Christmas at Pirates Voyage delivers a delightful performance.

Christmas at Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show is based on Charles Dickens’ holiday classic “A Christmas Carol” as told by Parton through her cast of pirates. When Captain Scrooge refuses to celebrate Christmas with his crew, he is visited by the spirits of Christmas past, present and future in an inspirational tale of the true meaning of Christmas.

In addition to the same awe-inspiring swashbuckling moves in the non-holiday version of the show, the Christmas show includes a Nativity scene that features live animals, holiday songs and dance routines by the cast and crew, and a breathtaking finale. Without spoiling the ending, expect a dazzling display of lights over the water.

“Christmas at Pirates Voyage is an unforgettable adventure celebrating all of the things that make the holidays special,” says director Larry McCoy. “From toys that come to life to the living nativity scene, treasure chests and giant Christmas trees and our all-new aerial and acrobatic acts this show will give you memories to last a lifetime.”

Patrons are served a holiday-themed four-course feast that includes the house special Voyager Creamy Vegetable Soup, Buccaneer Bread, Half O’ Roasted Cackler (Chicken) and the Captain’s BBQ Pork. Vegetable options are the Cob O’ Buttery Corn and the Pirate Herb-Basted Potato. Save room for the Apple O’ Me Eye Pie and wash it all down with unlimited drinks.
