Happy Fall, Y’all: Visit These Pumpkin Patches Near Myrtle Beach

The kids might be unable to splash around in an outdoor pool, but there’s still plenty of fun in Myrtle Beach.

It is pumpkin patch season, and children love being able to pick out their own. If you’re down for a fall getaway, it’s a great way to spend family time together. And the weather is picture perfect.

You don’t have to venture way out in the country to pick the perfect pumpkin (although you could). They’re all over Myrtle Beach. Check it out.

Barefoot Landing Pumpkin Patch & Hayrides

You can be a pumpkin pioneer in North Myrtle Beach! It’s open Fridays and Saturdays in October in Dockside Village. Admission is free, and pumpkins are $3-$15, cash only. Some proceeds will benefit local hurricane and flood relief.

TRY THIS: Buy an all-day wristband for access to a Jack-o-lantern inflatable. You can also take a hayride for $2.

Harvest Home Weekend

Bank on a great time at Brookgreen Gardens. Oct. 1-2, with garden admission, visit the pumpkin patch and scarecrow building station. Kits are $5 to take your guy home with you. Harvest Home admission is free for members.

Try this: It’s $5 (small)and $9 (large) to pick and decorate pumpkins. Grab lunch from a food vendor. Let’s Ride BBQ and EZ Cheesy will be there.

Indigo Farms

Dedicate yourself to finding the right pumpkin by making a short trip to Calabash. It’s open Saturdays in October, and admission is free. Enjoy different activities each week, including a hay maze, hayrides, and pig races.

TRY THIS: Let the little ones play a little in the barnyard. This place goes back to six generations of living on the farmland.

Thompson Farm & Nursery

We bet you’ll find a prize pumpkin! Up the road in Conway, navigate a patch and a 6-acre corn maze, open weekends starting on Oct. 6. Admission: $15.50 for adults, $13.50 for kids ages 3-12. Kids 2 and younger admitted free.

TRY THIS: Admission includes a tricycle track, giant leap pad, duck races, horse swings, and more. So, stay for a while!
