And when the main course is done, the dessert menu doesn’t disappoint — especially when you opt for the Warm White Chocolate Bread Pudding served with homemade vanilla bean ice cream and bourbon cream.
Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake, Croissants Bistro and Bakery
Found on North Kings Highway about a mile from Ocean Reef Resort, Croissants Bistro & Bakery offers a long list of options for dessert lovers, including a range of fresh-made cakes, pies, cupcakes and cookies. But our favorite among them is the Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake, which features a trio of delicious layers of chocolate mousse and a crunchy pecan crust.
Cheese Square, Toffino’s
A deli and pizzeria found on Farrow Parkway about 9.5 miles south of Ocean Reef Resort, Toffino’s also features an Italian bakery cooking up the likes of macaroons, eclairs, sponge cakes, cheesecakes, cannoli, and crumb cakes. It’s all delicious, but the Cheese Square — a sweet Danish cheese-filled puffed pastry topped with whipped cream — is tops on our list.
