This spectacular display in one of the area’s most beautiful sites is sure to please and only a short drive from the city. Brookgreen Gardens hosts more than 2,800 hand-lit candles and sparkling lights. Enjoy cider and hot chocolate.

RECOMMENDED: Indulge in lunch before the show at Austin’s Harvest Restaurant on site. She-Crab Soup is the crown of this flavorful menu.
3. Ripley’s Aquarium Festival Of Trees
Imagine, awesome local breweries’ fare accessible in one cool place. Sample drinks from Crooked Hammock Brewery, Duplin Winery, Tidal Creek Brewhouse, and more. See trees decorated to represent all 50 U.S. states, too.

RECOMMENDED: Enjoy a day in the aquarium. This festival is part of regular admission. From Planet Jellies to Ray Bay, it’s an incredible experience.
